5th Grade Playing Card portraits

The kids and I are having a blast doing projects from our portraits this year. They are getting used to coming up and getting their photos taken. This time we are turning our faces into a royalty playing card.
Thanks to Mrs. Art Teacher online for the lesson. The kids also viewed a Power Point on the history of playing cards. They have actual cards at their tables to get inspiration. Each child must be a royalty or Jack. They must choose a suit and incorporate it into their crown and clothing. They may color using markers of their choice.  So far the cards are turning out great!
