Second Grade Henri Rousseau Tigers
I saw this fun project on Kathy Angel Nik's blog and had to try it with our second graders. I love projects based on famous Artists. I read a book to the children about Henri Rousseau, the French Artist. We liked his jungle scenes. We drew a tiger portrait, of sorts, painted it with fluorescent paint and black tempera. The kids were quick to tell me that we used Bronco colors for the tiger and sky....Check back to see our leaves and flowers added.
