First Grade Weaves

First graders learned about looms. They learned to pay attention to the way their strip starts when they are weaving. Each time ,they start opposite of the previous time. Then it is over one, under one.....
This is a very cognitive skill and can be tricky for some. I was so proud to see kids who "got"it helping kiddos who were struggling!
These will be the shirts for our self portraits!
