Giant Birds

Second grade finished the sharpie part of their large birds. Several began painting with fluorescent tempera paints. Today they painted only the shapes on their birds and legs.  Next week they will use a new kind of paint for the background of the designs. Painting in two stages like this allows students to not smear paint everywhere, but  to follow their design.
