4th graders begin hummingbirds

These watercolored humming birds are beautiful. We talked a lot about technique with our watercolor paint. I like to do a Colorado project each year. This one seems suitable. I found an artwork at Mountain Fair in Carbondale this summer, by Anthony Grant. I am tweaking it some to be more suitable more the students, as well as teaching our Art Standards.
