KInder snails

We read a really cool book in art class called The Snail's Spell. The little boy imagines shrinking down to snail-size to experience snail-life in a garden. While an  imaginative tale , it is a very informative one
too. Did you know snails have eyes on the ends of their long stalks? And they can pull them down into their head?  And they have teeth on their tongues?
Students slithered to their seats to paint beautiful shells on the backs of paper plates. This reinforced circle shape-making as well as design with added lines and dots. Stay tuned for our garden scene and finally our snails! They may look familiar!
Thank you Artsonia for the inspiration.
