Fourth Grade Picasso Foil

Fourth graders learned about the life of Pablo Picasso and his many talents in art. They drew a self portrait in his style. Picasso came up with the idea to show a face front view and profile view at the same time! These drawings were embossed into golden colored foil and colored with sharpie. The final step was to make it presentation ready with a collaged and embellished frame. One class used cardboard and package filling for a super creative  monochromatic ( one color...) look. Some of these artworks are still in progress, but I had to share!  They are really cool! This idea came from a "middle school" lesson I saw online. I think our 4th graders rocked it!
